Sosue grew up watching her parents listening to variety of musical styles, trading jazz records and selling high fidelity audio-technology. Being that her roots stem from early childhood exposure to the enthusiasm of music and technics, it was only self-evident for her to let this become an important part of her life. Sosue caught the soulmusic bug in the age of seventeen and after six years of listening to Hard Bop, Funk, Souljazz and the Rhythm&Blues, Gospel and Soul of Atlantic, Stax and Motown Records, she started spinning records at bars and nightclubs. The following years she played scores of gigs mostly as a part of the Goodstyles Dj-Collective of the Berlin based label Hamton Recordings and her musical category extended to seventies Soul, Deepfunk, Afrobeat, Boogie, Disco, Oldschool Hiphop and Deephouse. Sosue studied Photoengineering and Mediatechnology at the University of Applied Sciences and made a media certificate at the School of Audio Engineering in Cologne. After leaving the university in 2004, Sosue decided to focus mainly on her musical career. She learned to play the drums, started programming beats, remixed and re-edited music to enrich her dj-sets. She mixes many different forms of music preferably far removed from mainstream to her personal peerless sound. Afrobeat, Conscious Hiphop, Electrofunk, Contemporary Jazz and Soul, Deephouse and Electronica are on equal terms with all that vintage stuff she has been socialized with. Many Years of merging finest in music made her to a unique eclecticist, what is highly noticeable in her sets and radioshows. 2007 she teamed up with Phil Kullmann – percussionist, producer and founder of the dancemusic project Raw Artistic Soul - and founded an independant record label called Raw Artistic Records releasing dancemusic. Under the name Soulkomplex Productions she produces music in collaboration with differnt musicians from the German Jazz- and Funk scene. For the time being, Sosue is djing every Saturday night at Colognes Hallmackenreuther. In turns with the German 5-Beats Resident Phil Kamp she plays the weekly Soulkomplex Radioshow which will be broadcastet on Motionfm.com (Canada) and Play.fm (Austria) started in May 2008.
