"Palham was founded as a mixtape label by dan.bust in 1994. “Palham” also publishes the flyer-artwork creations and operate a party-event series. The 6 members of the palham label originally met in Eisenach in 2000 in a record store called "dreizehnter" and continue to work together since then. Their music has also been published on vinyl records since 2003. In order to be independent from the constraints of clubs and their scenes and to be free in their own release policy, they try to maintain their financial independence as well as their intellectual (& artistic) freedom. Ongoing reflections on culture, politics and all kinds of music will find their expression in the dj-sets and various flyers and should encourage open discussion.
In 2007 Flavio Diners made the soundblog "merseburger.baude". This palham experiment presents different styles of instrumental and electronic music for their friends and all music lovers! Through an online friendship with [g]hood they connected to the Motion fm team in april 2009 to bring the palham.radioshow on air.
